Our Lady of Fatima Icon is on tour. This month the stop is in San Antonio, Texas. Thousands of people will come from all over to see and pray before a replica statue of Our Lady of Fatima.
Mothers and Fathers with their children and people of all walks of life will stop to see the statue.
The statue will be in San Antonio thru January 24th as part of a worldwide tour. Sculpted in 1947, it is the official traveling statue for the Marian devotion, which is experiencing renewed popularity in the United States.
It was in 1917 in Fatima, Portugal that the Virgin Mary is believed to have appeared to three shepherd children and miraculously revealed a message of personal piety, repentance and prayer. A statue and shrine were built at the site and the traveling statue was fashioned according to the account of one of the shepherd children.
Many people have stated that the statue has shed actual tears.

Do not be afraid, my children, I am here with you, I am next to you. I am showing you the way to forgive yourselves, to forgive others, and, with sincere repentance of heart, to kneel before the Father. Make everything die in you that hinders you from loving and saving – that you may be with Him and in Him. Decide for a new beginning, a beginning of sincere love of God Himself. Thank you.”

Mark your calendar for Dec 12th for the Feast of Guadalupe. This year marks 478th year anniversary of the appearance of Guadalupe to Juan Diego at Tepeyac. All over the Americas there will be celebrations.
This is one of the most important dates on the calendar. Thousands of the faithful will make a pilgrimage to the Basilica of Guadalupe in Mexico City where Juan Diego’s cloak adorned with the miraculous image of the Virgin of Guadalupe is kept.
Some of the Pilgrims arrive on their knees in devotion and displaying gratitude for favors received from the Virgin.
This is a great day of Devotion, Charity, Faith and Love.
